You Tube selection for iPhone

While I enjoy watching videos on the iPhone you will quickly find that many videos are not converted to the much better H.264 CODEC. What I find interesting is the selection algorithm. I would think it would be straight forward to convert those that have very high view rates and user ratings before those that do not. But I discovered this is not the case. I discovered this when I went to watch a video my brother sent on Patton’s take on the Iraq War. If you do a search for it on your iPhone you will see that it is not available. You will see a video show up with a standup comedian video that has 4% of the hits and half a star less in rating. By the way I recommend the watching the Patton video!
