It’s Official: The Nobel Prize for Liberalism has been awarded to Al Gore

Stalin wants his Nobel

Over the years many people have been recognized for service and contributions that have “increased” peace in some part of the world. Outstanding examples include Dr Martin Luther King Jr. (1964), General George C. Marshal (1953), and even Anwar al-Sadat (1978). But a look at the last few decades has shown not just poor judgment but a bent toward Socialism, politics, and anti-semitismGood luck finding a conservative that values individual liberties over statism. Where is the announcement that “The United States has won for spending billions of dollars to help countries that return little and to promote peace and democracy? With the announcement today that Al Gore won this very soiled prize only furthers the examples. Here are some highlights of recent awards:

  •  2007 - Al Gore : Despite the evidence that Global Warming is bad science and very political, the society has bestowed the peace prize on Mr. Gore. His hypocrisy on this issue should have been enough to disqualify him even if Global Warming was a fact.
  • 2002 - President Jimmy Carter: Perhaps the most inept president of our lifetime. Awarded the prize for ”for his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development”. His latest book “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid” has caused a storm of controversy that shows a pro-palestinian (AKA state sponsored terrorists) and anti-Israel position. Many believe him to be anti-semitic.
  • 1998 - John Hume and David Trimble: Hume is a socialist and founding member  of the Social Democratic and Labour Party. Starting political parties sounds political but to The Society being a socialist equals peaceful.
  • 1994 - Yasser Arafat: This should need no explanation. He was basically given an Peace Prize “For not committing terrorism during the consideration of the award”. For most of his life, including after the Nobel Prize, he continued to advocate and direct the killing of Jews. He died a wealthy man and helped to create the current Intifada that has kills thousands to advance his career. The palestinian people are much worse off now.
  • 1976 - Betty Williams: Quoted as saying “I would love to kill George Bush”.
