Immigrants march in LA over Bush plan

Did you see the story about the hords of Aliens (the illegal variety) that protested President Bush’s immigration policy? What struck me was the story headline: Immigrants march in LA over Bush plan. An immigrant is, according to my dictionary, a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.. If you are not a US citizen then the only way to become an Immigrant is to go through the process of citizenship. If you do not do so you are breaking the laws of this or any other sovereign country. But the headline did not want to call attention to the fact that these were people that were either here illegally or want us to grant amnesty to the the those who boldly defy our laws.As best as I can tell the purpose of the story is to garner support for people to take a short cut to citizenship. The story, as reported by those who take pride in the US being sovereign as well as observing the laws, would have reported with outrage that these illegal aliens were breaking the law and had the audacity to protest our laws. It would have gone on to ask the question why these illegal aliens were not rounded up when they had the chance. The law is the law. Does anyone really believe that the US should not be soverign any more?
